Terms of Use

Last updated: September 13, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") are the agreement between you and RUN4IT ("we", "us") for using the RUN4IT app and RUN4IT Pro. By creating an account or using RUN4IT, you agree to them. Questions? support@run4it.app.

The short version. RUN4IT is a GPS running tracker. "Earned drinks" is a motivational calculator, not a way to buy, sell, or get alcohol delivered. RUN4IT Pro is an optional auto-renewing subscription billed through the App Store or Google Play — manage or cancel it there. Be decent to other runners in chat. Don't misuse the app. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your data.

1. Who can use RUN4IT

You need an account (email/password or Google/Apple sign-in) to use RUN4IT — there's no guest mode. You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, to create one. RUN4IT carries a 17+ content rating on the App Store because of alcohol references in the "earned drinks" feature; if you're under the legal drinking age in your jurisdiction, that feature is informational only and not an invitation to drink.

You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Give us accurate information when you sign up.

2. The service

RUN4IT tracks your runs with GPS and shows your distance, pace, duration, and estimated calories burned. It calculates streaks, awards badges automatically, lets you set goals, and — if you choose — helps you find and message other runners ("crew").

"Earned drinks." This feature converts an estimate of the calories you burned into an equivalent amount of a beer, wine, or cocktail you select, purely as a motivational comparison. RUN4IT does not sell, deliver, redeem, or facilitate the purchase of alcohol in any form, and nothing in the app should be read as encouragement to drink. The beverage data behind it comes from Untappd, Vivino, and TheCocktailDB — see section 7.

Calorie, pace, and "earned drinks" figures are estimates based on the information you provide (like weight) and general formulas. They are not medical, nutritional, or safety advice — see section 8.

4. Crew, chat & your content

If you turn on discoverability, other signed-in users can find your profile and message you. You're responsible for what you send. Don't use chat to harass, threaten, impersonate, spam, or share anything illegal or that infringes someone else's rights. You can turn off discoverability, block-equivalent behavior by not responding, and delete your account at any time — see our Support page.

A run you mark as a "public route" is visible to other signed-in users under "Discover routes." Don't share a route you don't want other runners to see.

We can remove content or suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms, at our discretion, with or without notice.

5. Location & accuracy

RUN4IT uses your device's GPS to record routes, distance, and pace — including briefly in the background if a run is still active when you leave the app. GPS accuracy varies by device, signal, weather, and terrain; treat all figures as estimates, not precise measurements. See our Privacy Policy for how location data is collected and used.

6. Health & safety

RUN4IT is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice. Talk to a doctor before starting a new exercise routine, especially if you have a health condition. Run in conditions and locations that are safe for you — be aware of your surroundings, traffic, and terrain, and don't let the app distract you while running. You use RUN4IT, and act on anything it shows you, at your own risk.

7. Third-party services

RUN4IT uses these third parties to provide the service; using RUN4IT means you're also subject to their terms where applicable:

ProviderRole
Apple App Store / Google PlayDistribution and subscription billing
Google Firebase / Google CloudAccounts, database, storage, notifications, server functions
Google Maps PlatformMaps and route rendering
Google AdMobAds shown to non-Pro users
Untappd, Vivino, TheCocktailDBBeer, wine, and cocktail data and images (read-only lookups)

RUN4IT is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any brewery, winery, distillery, brand, or the third parties listed above. Beverage names, images, and data belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.

8. Acceptable use

Don't: reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape the app or its data beyond normal use; interfere with or overload our systems; falsify GPS data or otherwise cheat the run-tracking or reward system; use RUN4IT for anything illegal; or resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to the app or RUN4IT Pro.

9. Your account & termination

You can delete your account at any time — contact support@run4it.app, or use the delete-account option in Profile if available on your version. We may suspend or terminate your account for violating these Terms, to protect the service or other users, or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (like limitation of liability) do.

10. Intellectual property

RUN4IT — the app, its design, the RUN4IT name and logo, and our own content — belongs to us. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on your own devices for its intended purpose. That's it — no other rights are granted. Your run data and anything you post in chat remain yours; by using RUN4IT you let us store and process it to provide the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

11. Disclaimers

RUN4IT is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that calorie/distance/"earned drinks" figures are exact.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RUN4IT and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data, lost profits, or personal injury arising from your use of the app — including from running itself, GPS inaccuracy, or reliance on any figure the app shows. Where liability can't be excluded by law, it's limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as RUN4IT changes. We'll update the "Last updated" date above, and note material changes in the app or by email. Continuing to use RUN4IT after a change means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, and any dispute will be handled in a court with jurisdiction over RUN4IT, except where local law gives you additional rights that can't be waived.
